Teacher Wishlists

The average Indiana teacher spends $800 annually out of their own pocket for students’ supplies and enhancing their classroom experience. Our organization recognizes this, and many of our community members want to help, but don’t know how. A teacher in an SBCSC school may create a Wishlist of subject-specific or grade-specific items (under $300). Wishlists will be funded as long as funding is available!

    Our Teacher Wishlist has reached its funding limit and is currently closed to new submissions.

    The Wishlist will reopen:

    Wednesday, October 14, 2026
    at 7:00 a.m.

    Teacher Wishlist Policies:

    • You will need your principal’s approval with a signed Signature Page.
    • Wishlists are limited to one per teacher per school year.
    • We are unable to purchase decorations, food, or candy for your classroom. Please limit your list to educational items and supplies.
    • Please note that you are asked to make an Amazon Wishlist and submit the link to that Wishlist for ease of fulfillment. If items needed are not available on Amazon, please email Meg Smyth at msmyth@sb.school with your request.
    • Items will be sent directly to your school, and you will be notified when items are purchased and when they are expected to arrive.
    • Wishlist items purchased by the SBEA become property of their school should a teacher end their employment with SBCSC.

    The Process

    To apply you will need:

    • Amazon Wishlist Link

      Items Sent

      Teacher Wishlist items will be processed and sent directly to your school as they are received. You should receive Wishlist items within two weeks of submitting your form, unless you hear otherwise from an SBEA Staff Member.

      Educator Wishlist Follow-Up Form

      Once the items have been received and used, grant awardees must fill out the Educator Wishlist Follow-Up Form. Failure to complete will result in possible disqualification from future rewards.
